      • Roots to FlourishThis serpent-dragon, a tattoo, is sprouting roots to symbolize our need to be rooted to flourish in our lives.

We breathe oxygen which trees release during photosynthesis and release carbon dioxide which the trees take in for their own nourishment.

The complexity in looking and being looked at can imply a power dynamic and sometimes a threat. Her tattoo of a woman in an Odalisque pose has eyeballs drawn on her body, symbolizing the male gaze. She seems to be looking at the form of a praying mantis, an insect where the female eats her mate, a matriarchal power dynamic.
